SHINE IN THE LOVE OF GOD'S GRACE EVERYDAY!
Brothers Imitating Christ (BIC) is a group of Spirit-led men from different churches and ethnic background seeking communion with our Father through worship, prayer and fasting. We offer a safe haven for all men who are accountable to each other, exhorting one another to good works while strengthening our bond with the Lord and each other. This contributes to our divine purpose as a group of individual members of the Body of Christ.
Our vision is to bridge the gap between organizations, institutions and individuals joining them together in partnership and humbleness, creating positive results for everybody in need, regardless of their ethnic background or present and past associations, showing them that God knows, He cares and He loves them.
What's At Our Core? Just as Jesus said in the Beatitudes, blessed are the poor and the hungry. Our mission is not just to love one another, but to make sure we spread the love of the Gospel everywhere.
BIC and partners in ministry, work with local churches, government agencies and other organizations to help bridge the gap of needs in the communities in South Florida and the world.

BIC had last been in Panama in August of 2016 and we as a group felt that we needed to go back to encourage the people that we had met during our last trip and also form new relationships with others.
A group of 9 men and 6 ladies left from Fort Lauderdale Airport on Wednesday August 29th, 2018 for Panama. There was an air of excitement on this trip because there were some that had gone on previous mission trips with BIC to Panama and there were some that this was their first trip to Panama. Both groups were eagerly anticipating what was ahead of us.

Hi, my name is Liz and I have been in the lovely city of Warsaw, Poland, for the last several weeks with the intention to help Ukrainian refugees. Fast forward a few weeks of being here and I met a beautiful family (a mom of five kids with one being a newborn) from Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. This GoFundMe will ideally help support them for a year of living in Poland and anything more will go towards helping as many other families as possible who are fleeing the war. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not have the financial resources which creates a huge obstacle to say the least and are going back to Ukraine.
Marianna was eight months pregnant when leaving Ukraine beginning of July 2022 and initially traveled to Italy with her four beautiful, fun-loving kids and their belongings. Her goal was to live with family which she discovered after arriving that there was not enough room unfortunately. Her family had already took in other family members. Marianna decided she needed to get back to Ukraine right away before the baby was due. They stopped in Germany before boarding a train to Poland. Some people they met in Germany tried to convince her to stay, but she was determined to go back to Ukraine where she had support. From Germany, they stopped in Warsaw, Poland. Tired, discouraged, and near her due date, Marianna decided to return home. She was at the bus stop, ready to depart for Ukraine when she went into labor.
Since her being out of the hospital (and delivering a healthy baby boy named David), we have been working on what she needed to return to Ukraine (like birth certificate for David and then it being translated to Ukrainian). As of recent, she wants to stay in Poland for at least one year but needs support. Some of our focuses: apartment for a year, necessary furniture for the apartment like beds), school for the four kids, pediatrician appointments, dentist appointments, clothes/shoes (including for winter).

Contact UsBIC believes in helping the less fortunate and one of the things that we do is feed the homeless. Part of the feeding of the homeless is to fill a need of hunger, but BIC understands that it goes beyond that.
There are issues from drugs, alcohol, mental, to just unfortunate situations that people end up homeless. There are all nationalities, all races, and all levels of education that are homeless. Our goal is to assist them in getting off the street and into some type of facility that will meet their need. We currently partner with the Miami Rescue Mission, Broward Outreach Center (Hollywood and Pompano) who assist us in finding the right facility for those that are willing to get assistance.
For the ones that are unwilling to accept assistance we will continue to pray, and continue to feed because that is what we are called to do
